ABSTRACT
This chapter wraps up the book's discussion of State ocean jurisdiction by summing up how an analytical and systematic study of State ocean jurisdiction provides a different lens with which to engage with the international-law-of-the-sea regime and sheds a different light on the relationships between the jurisdictions as well as on the substantive and procedural aspects of the exercise of each jurisdiction.
