ABSTRACT
This contribution explores the pivotal role of the environment in facilitating everyday decision-making for people living with dementia in care homes. The study underscores the care home environment’s significant impact on decision-making at macro, meso, and micro levels, proposing enhancements for promoting resident choice. Appreciative Inquiry emerges as an effective method for promoting stakeholder engagement and fostering interventions in care homes.
