ABSTRACT
This chapter provides evidence from a study that aimed to evaluate the impact of composite narratives on research end-users. The findings show how composite narratives can be powerful mechanisms for disseminating research findings. The composite narratives exemplified in this book were used to share research findings with 84 teachers who worked at schools where the research being reported had been conducted. Questionnaires and interviews completed by the participant teachers showed that the composite narratives were effective in communicating the research findings for impact on teaching practices. The teachers adopted suggested approaches for communicating high expectations and experienced their students’ benefiting.
