ABSTRACT

Researchers across different social science disciplines are developing methods for constructing composite narratives. The methods being developed have in common that they all seek to represent multiple participants’ experiences through composite narratives. However, the processes for constructing the composite narratives can vary. As a qualitative researchers interested in using composite narratives, you can learn and draw from the variety of methods that have been developed and used by social sciences researchers. This chapter overviews contributions from other researchers that have used composite narratives to begin to suggest alternative processes for constructing composite narratives.
