ABSTRACT
A complete set of composite narratives and their accompanying audit trails further exemplifies the six-step process for construction in this chapter. These eight narratives convey eight main research findings about how the students appraised their teachers’ expectations of them. Discussion of the composite narratives through the lens of Tronto's (2015) ethic of care philosophy evokes implications for teachers’ work in showing students high learning expectations through caring classroom interactions.
