ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on the decomposition of SRB by province. The changes in national SRB since 2000 are decomposed into three factors: the changes in provincial composition of births (PCB), parity composition by province (PCP), and male proportion by parity (MPP). Based on these, the authors decompose the changes in the national SRB, examine provincial contributions to the national change, and decompose the changes in SRB at the provincial level.
