ABSTRACT
The AI Act Regulation is a legal instrument strongly connected with the internal market's logic. Hence, the natural legal basis for this act is art. 114 TFEU, which provides ground for the adoption of measures intended for the establishment and proper functioning of the internal market. According to the preamble of the AI Act, its purpose is to establish uniform rules for the development, marketing, and use of artificial intelligence in the EU in accordance with the values of the Union.
