ABSTRACT

This chapter presents an analysis of pedagogical materials used in STEM courses in the EMI context at the Hong Kong university, same as mentioned in Chapters 3 and 4. The pedagogical materials that were explored primarily include course syllabi, PowerPoint slides, class activity handouts, assignment prompts and instructions, and multimedia resources. The purpose of this analysis is to evaluate whether and how these materials support students' academic and language development in the context of EMI and to identify areas where these resources can be enhanced to better meet students' language learning needs at the Hong Kong university or a similar educational context.
