ABSTRACT
This chapter revisits the goal of the Routledge Focus, which is to comprehensively analyze the STEM education in the EMI context with the lens of language teaching and learning. Then, the chapter briefly summarizes the major findings the chapters in the two aforementioned contexts (STEM courses and STEM English courses) in the Hong Kong university. Last, based on the findings in the previous chapters in the Focus, a set of future research directions are also provided for readers who are interested in the topic of STEM education and EMI, particularly in higher education in Hong Kong or similar educational context. This will pave the way for relevant research in the future.
