ABSTRACT

The CIRCLE data tool, created by the Center for Information & Research on Civic Learning and Engagement (CIRCLE), allows a wide range of stakeholders to explore data on youth civic engagement and the community conditions that shape it. Featuring more than 35 indicators and data at various geographic levels, the tool is focused on some of the structures and systems that influence youth voting and other forms of participation. By allowing users to find and understand data for their own communities, the tool encourages learning and identifying potential levers for change that can better support young people's engagement in democracy.
