ABSTRACT
This short essay—which is a reworked version of a lecture delivered to the closing seminar of the Nordic Civil Society research group in September 2023—offers some reflections on the “Nordicness” of Nordic civil society in a historical perspective and discusses the contributions to this book in the light of this.
