ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on some specific aspects of the collection of migrants’ personal data and the challenges that arise in their protecting. The sensitive nature of the data collected and the potential for misuse pose significant risks to the privacy and security of migrants. Therefore, robust measures must be put in place to ensure that the data are used only for their intended purpose and in compliance with data protection laws.
