ABSTRACT
In this second data analysis chapter, we delve further into techniques and approaches for stimulating your inductive reasoning processes as you continue to work with the data and begin to purposefully mine your data set for patterns that will ultimately yield your findings. Interpretive description steers the researcher away from an overreliance on the many technical options available to qualitative researchers so that what takes priority throughout the data analysis process is an ongoing and iterative critical reflection on the assemblages of data elements and conceptual interpretations that come together as you begin to discern the possible meanings within your data set and transform those insights into findings.
