ABSTRACT
The reconciliation and spectacular rejuvenation of the Western European states after World War II is the general vision from which this study's model is drawn. Particularly inspiring is the rehabilitation, of which the European Communities Common Market is a major facet, that brought former enemies together in a regional joint venture.
