ABSTRACT
Danny the Street is a heroic place. Danny, a character in the DC Comics universe, is a sentient corridor that protects outcasts and oddballs by teleporting into any landscape, providing them with shelter. Danny speaks to other characters through signs and symbolic language, such as frilly curtains on a sporting goods store along Danny. As depicted in comic books and movies, Danny represents the activities, spaces, and spirit that combine into our most memorable places (Figure 1).1
