ABSTRACT
Contemporary paradigms in management science face a great many challenges resulting from a dynamically changing business environment. One of the key problems is the need to adapt to rapid technological progress, which requires continuous updating of strategies and management tools. A further challenge is globalization, which increases competition and forces firms to integrate ecological and social issues into their strategies. Finally, the changing expectations of employees, including the need for greater flexibility and balance between work and private life, require a new approach to human resources management. This chapter confronts the limitations and critiques of the current paradigm head-on. Through critical analysis and thought-provoking discourse, this chapter encourages readers to question established norms and explore alternative perspectives, setting the stage for a deeper revaluation of existing paradigms.
