ABSTRACT
This chapter serves as the conclusion for this book, and it provides the main elements of the research project that served as the initiator of this book, as a result of the support given by the Dutch Government. In that sense, the main elements and conclusions of each of the chapters are described, providing the unifying thread of this research and the main conclusions for the reader to understand the current state of organized crime in Spain and the characteristics of Spain’s security apparatus.
