ABSTRACT
This chapter is divided into two sections:
A short story that invites readers to project themselves into the concept of environmental bankruptcy, through the case of an imaginary company facing such a situation in the not-too-distant future; the places and characters in this short story are fictitious or projected into a fictional context.
A note to accompany the story. In particular, we’ll come back to the choice made to deal only with the planetary limit linked to climate change, and not with all the limits and foundations covered by the LIFTS model.
