ABSTRACT

The aspect indicated in the previous sub-chapter concerning the significance of acceleration programs for startups and corporations in terms of rolling out innovation and also confirming that the benefits ensuing from the established cooperation surpass the expenditures incurred to establish and sustain it triggered the in-depth analysis of inter-organizational cooperation between startups and corporations. This analysis was conducted with respect to key dimensions such as the goals, difficulties and challenges that the parties encounter during cooperation in acceleration programs. Accordingly, in this part of the book, the following research goals were formulated (second area of the research gap):

Goal 1 – Specifying the importance of the goals for establishing cooperation guiding startups and corporations as part of acceleration programs.

Goal 2 – Specifying the importance of the difficulties encountered by corporations and startups during their acceleration programs.

Goal 3 – Specifying the importance of the challenges encountered by corporations and startups when they participate in acceleration programs.

Goal 4 – Researching whether the intended goals of cooperation are achieved by the parties.
