ABSTRACT
Research findings demonstrated that the goals of corporations in cooperation with startups in acceleration programs are achieved at a medium level. Accordingly, identifying the attributes of startups that may potentially contribute to enhancing the effectiveness of this cooperation is vital. Identifying the attributes (predictors) of startups that potentially enhance their chances for successful cooperation may accrue the following benefits. First, the risk of the failure of inter-organizational cooperation is diminished through better selection of program participants. Second, optimization of the resources made available by the accelerator and the corporation for the program’s needs is better, which translates into more effective management of the overall acceleration process. Choosing the right startups will also contribute to growing the value of the program itself. It will build its reputation and position it as an attractive platform for innovative companies and their solutions on the domestic market and the international market.
