ABSTRACT

In the final chapter of the book, three categories of arguments are presented to demonstrate why this new general management paradigm represents a revolutionary transformation in management philosophy, theory, and practice. The first category refers to the main changes in company management generated by the new paradigm. The second reveals and analyzes the main features of the company management that facilitate and enhance the essential societal transformation. These include transition to the stakeholder capitalism, transition to the knowledge-based economy, and transition to a digital economy. The third category includes the innovative management elements that facilitate the consideration and contribution to face grand societal challenges, focusing on nine of them. The last part of the chapter comprises a synthesis of the 15 main arguments of why the manager/leader–relevant stakeholder general management paradigm represents a revolutionary transformation in entity management and its context. For the reader, the content of the chapter provides a comprehensive set of arguments and ways with regard to the necessity of the new general management paradigm and its huge impact on management philosophy, science, and practice.
