ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on issues involving the relevance of promoting a culture of peace. Its aim is to show the relevance of developing a culture of peace through selected social institutions responsible for education. The background and context for these considerations is the risk society perspective outlined by Ulrich Beck. The relevance of these issues becomes particularly acute in light of the war in Ukraine and the armed conflict in Israel.
