ABSTRACT
Accessibility issues can arise in any classroom in that it deals with students' disabilities or challenges needing some sort of additional assistance or accommodation (sometimes also referred to as students with special needs). Accessibility will be fully described, including how it ties in with education in general and instructional design specifically. The two major aspects of understanding accessibility issues and helping to address these issues as part of instructional design will be addressed, along with how generative artificial intelligence (AI) can be used as a powerful resource to help with accessibility in many different ways.
