ABSTRACT
Behavioral issues are an important aspect of teaching and learning and something that all faculty need to learn to properly address. This chapter will fully define behavioral issues within education and provide a greater understanding of what this issue is all about. It will identify the main types of behavioral issues that faculty are likely to encounter and specific ways to properly prevent and address these problem behaviors. Specific ways that artificial intelligence (AI) can be used to help address behavioral problems will be demonstrated with full prompts and examples. Additionally, the importance of overall good instructional design will be highlighted as a powerful way to address behavioral issues even before students begin their course.
