The museum context of stakeholder relationship management and value co-creation

This chapter provides a broad and general opening statement to the main issues and topics discussed in the book. Hence, the narration starts with the presentation of the current state of the literature and subsequent research gaps. The presentation of the explored topic is based on the depiction of the novelty of the elaborated topic, especially in the museum context. Then, the narration provides a statement of the objectives (consisting of methodological, utilitarian, and cognitive) related to the explored concept, as well as the overall structure of the book, including information about the main idea of each chapter and concluding remarks.
