ABSTRACT
This chapter presents the methods employed in the conducted research project. The research assumptions, the research objectives, and the research questions are indicated in the first place. Next, the selected methods and the forms of triangulation used are presented, together with the logic behind such research construction. Due to the specific nature of the research and its time period, a graphic model of the research process with all its stages is included. The chapter also describes the criteria for selecting the central objects in the case study. After describing and characterising the selection criteria, the research sample is briefly presented.
