ABSTRACT

The chapter presents the results of the empirical research on value co-creation in each of the cases studied. The results concerning the definition of value co-creation by museum representatives and stakeholders are presented first (subchapter 6.1). Based on an identification of perceptions of co-creation and its areas, the impact of different stakeholder expectations on the course and outcome of the value co-creation process was analysed (subchapter 6.2). In the following subchapters, attention is focused on the possibility of engaging stakeholders in co-creation processes (subchapter 6.3) and on barriers emerging in the value co-creation process (subchapter 6.4). The final subchapter presents the results of a cross-case analysis of the issues explored in the individual cases.
