ABSTRACT

First part of the introduction presents the idea of the book. It sketches the specificity of the combination of CCS and UGS technology. Describing theoretical background, it stresses the importance of connections between energy transition, energy security and social acceptance of new technologies. Second part refers to the methodology used in the AGaStor social research: discourse analysis, quantitative survey, deliberative qualitative research and evaluation. The final part briefly informs about the content of every chapter and abbreviations used in the book.
