ABSTRACT
The chapter mapping of main CCS and CCUS public discourse agents and types of communication. The analyses of Polish public discourse on this topic presented in the chapter include both official strategic documents of the Polish government, the level of interest of traditional mass media and the issue on social media. The obtained results clearly lead to the conclusion that in Poland there are currently no manifestations of any “symbolic coping” with CCUS in the space of public discourse. It is no wonder that the residents of two local communities in the West Pomeranian Province covered by the project “worked through” the topic on their own, facing the challenge unprepared and surprised.
