ABSTRACT
The chapter references various aspects of CCUS technology communication. First, it is recognition of the trust-building mechanisms in effective communication of CCS and UGS technologies based on qualitative research. Those mechanisms are: communicating the safety; communicating the lack of nuisances; communicating the benefits; transparent and competent transfer of knowledge. Using such mechanisms in promotion meetings devoted to CCUS technology lets us find some directions of knowledge change and reduction of uncertainty. The important finding from evaluation research is the transformation of the resistance attitudes toward CCUS. The traditional NIMBY attitudes are replaced by WIMBY attitudes which can be treated as a softer version of technology rejection.
