ABSTRACT
This chapter describes the correlation between digital capital and individualisation. It focuses on the generational lifestyle shifts from collectivism towards individualisation and how this transition has affected third agers in China. In exploring digital disparities among third agers, the chapter argues that accumulated digital capital is accelerating individualisation in China. Finally, the chapter provides some suggestions to resolve digital disparities among the third age cohort.
