ABSTRACT
Focussing on ethical frameworks in governance, this chapter discusses deontology, libertarianism, existential nihilism and altruism. These philosophies help articulate different approaches to corporate governance, accountability, ethics and social responsibility. Furthermore, the chapter addresses how organizational power dynamics and knowledge influence ethical behaviour within corporate structures.
