ABSTRACT
This chapter summarizes the results of this study, focusing specifically on how difficult it is to define empathy and on how it is often understood as feeling someone else’s pain instead of their feelings more generally. It is also concluded that empathy deserves more attention in all research areas that have it as an object of investigation.
