ABSTRACT
We must actively cultivate inclusion through both concrete and symbolic measures to address socio-demographic transformations. Urban rituals, as territorialised acts of belonging, are essential tools for fostering inclusion. Chapter 6 outlines key recommendations for city authorities and civil society. The chapter emphasises that urban identity is built through unique, evolving events that symbolically unite residents. Rituals not only create belonging but also stimulate creativity, requiring high-level coordination across cultural, migration and urban marketing policies. Inclusion, thus, becomes a dynamic process rooted in shared urban experiences.
