ABSTRACT

International legal communication is an interdisciplinary field of research that requires collaboration across multiple academic disciplines, involving at least representatives of law and linguistics. It encompasses a wide range of research issues, including ensuring terminological consistency in law, acquiring broadly understood knowledge about the law, translating legal acts, harmonizing legislation, facilitating professional communication between practising lawyers in various contexts, managing interactions between lawyers and lay clients, and examining the impact of new information technologies and the media on the practice of law.
