ABSTRACT

This chapter examines advocacy as practised by legal professionals and addresses a range of communication-related aspects directly connected with it. It highlights the advantages of experimental reasoning, drawing on William G. Perry’s model of intellectual development and John Dewey’s concept of experimental logic. The chapter emphasizes the importance of the Socratic method in legal education, as well as so-called inclusive solutions aimed at the effective resolution of legal problems through the reconciliation of positions and interests. Such solutions take into account a broad spectrum of diverse factors within the context of a changing world, thereby necessitating innovative pedagogical approaches.
