ABSTRACT

This final chapter, co-written by all the authors, reflects on their experience on collaboratively writing this interdisciplinary book. Based on workshop discussions, it shows how associations with the term ‘harvest’ converged and diverged within the group and the causes for this. It discusses the way in which authors tried to communicate their particular understanding within their chapter, including the considerations when trying to convey something niche and difficult-to-describe to a broad audience. It then discusses the impact of reading one another’s chapters as well as the impacts of being part of this innovative interdisciplinary project, reflecting on the attempt to put many of the principles in the book into practice throughout the process of writing it.
