ABSTRACT
This chapter explores Industry 4.0’s ongoing digital transformation toward Industry 5.0 and its significant effects on energy security and organizational management. The analysis, which draws from theoretical frameworks and empirical data from Poland and other contexts, shows how new technologies like advanced analytics, IoT, and artificial intelligence are changing conventional industrial processes and management paradigms. These advances help increase operational effectiveness and make sustainable energy transitions, especially by integrating renewable energy sources and smart grids. But they also bring with them a number of problems, such as cybersecurity threats and organizational adaptation issues. The chapter’s implication is that comprehensive strategies that take organizational preparedness, technological capabilities, and the development of human capital into consideration are necessary for a successful digital transformation.
