ABSTRACT

This chapter introduces the Human-Agent-Culture-Architecture (HACA) framework as a new approach to incorporating agentic AI as independent collaborators as opposed to passive instruments. HACA fills important gaps in current strategies for digital transformation by coordinating AI systems with human capabilities, cultural norms, and organizational architecture. The framework, which is based on participatory design and Socio-Technical Systems, offers both conceptual clarity and useful advice. It includes readiness assessments, phased implementation strategies, and an interaction map that illustrates how AI can be used at the executive, managerial, and operational levels. By doing this, it gives businesses the tools they need to foster trust, maintain meaningful work, and capitalize on AI’s potential for robust, human-centered innovation.
