ABSTRACT

This chapter presents responses to our book from four internationally renowned scholars in the field of school autonomy reform and social justice: Professor Pauline Lipman (University of Illinois, Chicago), Professor Lisbeth Lundahl (Ume University, Sweden), Professor Jorunn Mller (University of Oslo), and Professor Pat Thomson (University of Nottingham). Each brings significant knowledge and expertise to contemporary debates on the social justice implications of school autonomy reform within increasingly marketised public education systems. Their analyses resonate with the arguments developed in earlier chapters concerning the Australian context, while also offering distinct perspectives shaped by national specificities.
