ABSTRACT

Trust is an important factor in the success of an organization. It is also an element of the organizational value system. And although trust may not be visible at first glance, it makes employees feel comfortable and safe in the workplace.

This chapter consists of five subchapters. In the first part, the concept of trust and its meaning was operationalized. The second part presents the sources of trust. The third part concerns the types and dimensions of trust. The fourth part presents the role of trust in the concept of social capital. The fifth part presents the specifics of measuring intra-organizational trust along with measurement methods. The content of this chapter is the result of a systematic review of the literature.
