ABSTRACT

Building and maintaining trust is a dynamic process. Understanding the factors affecting the level of trust is an extremely important aspect in the process of building, maintaining and rebuilding broken intra-organizational trust.

This chapter is divided into four parts. The first part discusses the structure and characteristics of factors that have a positive impact on the level of trust in an organization. The second part presents the structure and characteristics of factors that negatively affect the level of trust in an organization. The third part concerns the relationship between intra-organizational trust and other organizational values in the conditions of digitalization. The final part presents the essence of the trust management process in an organization in the conditions of digitalization. The role of trust management in an organization is also shown. The content of this chapter is the result of a systematic review of the literature.
