ABSTRACT

A systematic review of the literature conducted by the authors showed that although trust is not a new problem, it was noted that the state of knowledge in the area of determinants of trust in managers, co-workers and technology in the conditions of digitalization is insufficient. The conclusions from the literature review allowed for the following research problem: diagnosis of the determinants of trust, their structure and the level of trust in the organization of the SME sector in the conditions of digitalization.

This chapter presents the methodology of the research conducted. The chapter is divided into five parts. The first part discusses the topic of empirical research. The second part presents the methodological assumptions. The third part focuses on the research hypotheses. The fourth part of the chapter concerns the operationalization of variables. The fifth part presents the characteristics of the research sample.
