Monitoring vaccine coverage and attitudes towards vaccination

This chapter first defines vaccine coverage, describes the main methods for monitoring it and how to interpret results. It also includes a brief overview of where national vaccine coverage data may be found. The chapter ends by providing an overview of methods to monitor attitudes towards vaccination. The other determinants of coverage (availability of vaccines and health services) are outside the scope of this book.
