A political history of the Chobanid dynasty

This chapter explores the political history of the Chobanid dynasty from the earlier references we have in the sources to the end of the dynasty in the early 14th century. The chapter is organised chronologically, discussing the political trajectory of the different Chobanid rulers vis-à-vis the Seljuqs of Rum, the Mongols of Iran and the Byzantine Empire.
