Ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education for all is not easy. The current education disparity is worse in conflict-affected countries. Many children have had their education interrupted and the quality and prevalence of education have decreased in many of these areas. In some countries, progress has stalled or even reversed. Natural disasters also cause crises, which can interrupt educational progress. These interruptions put

children at a disadvantage, needing to find ways to overcome the gaps in their education. There are also chronic inequalities in educational opportunities in parts of the world as children, youths and adults - and especially women and girls - still face difficulties or discrimination accessing quality learning opportunities, despite international affirmation of the right to education.
