ABSTRACT

The summary reveals the research results and introduces avenues for future studies of the research field. In particular, it weighs the extent of the hypotheses’ verification by discussing and summarizing arguments for and against the validity and plausibility of the final conclusions. It pays close attention to the courses and properties of modifications made within the current theoretical approaches towards the analytical category over empirical tests. Importantly, it shows the theoretical framework elaborated in the research process as a result of the theory-verification and theory-generation efforts. Last but not least, it comments on the very nature of diversity and similarities between the cultures of political violence that entered the austerity-stricken member states of the Eurozone and identifies their sources and results. Simultaneously, it opens the discussion on the exploratory and explanatory utility of the category of a culture of political violence in social sciences.
