ABSTRACT
Measures to reduce the amount of waste produced and to organize the collection (and recycling) of garbage are only parts of the solution. People need to be made aware of the problems involved in waste management. They need to appreciate that they must begin to produce less garbage, and they need to learn about less harmful ways to dispose of generated waste. This calls for continuous educational efforts by various actors. These educational activities were part of my research project in spring 2017.
