ABSTRACT

The use of capital markets to facilitate the development of high and new technology enterprises is one of the important measures in realizing the strategic goal of building the country through science and education. This is also an effective way to yield faster economic growth in the age of the knowledge economy, as highlighted by the development of the Chinese listed enterprises. The findings of scientific research fail to develop into commercial products and to have their market value realized. The development of high and new technology enables enterprises to make more profits in the market, part of which can be reinvested in scientific research, pushing scientific research and technological innovation to a higher level. The capital market obtained by issuing stocks of the high and new technology enterprises has amounted to RMB 17 bn, which exceeds the total investments for innovation and reconstruction planned in the national budget.
