ABSTRACT
The secret to implementing the Organizational Master Plan is the effective use of the Six Ts: talk, training, time, tools, teamwork, traceability. New ways require time to learn, time to adjust to the new procedure, and time to implement the new processes. Too many Organizational Master Plans are unsuccessful because the time required to implement them is not included in the budget. With the teamwork concept, everyone has time to stop and help someone who needs their help. This requires that everyone has an understanding of the Organizational Master Plan so they know how they interact with other organizations that are in the process of implementing it. Traceability is the key to keeping everyone informed about what they need to do to support the Organizational Master Plan and follow up on assignments to be sure they are completed on schedule. The Organizational Master Planning process applies to the public and private sectors equally as well.
